How to connect OVEX to Coinfig
Download your trades
Log in to OVEX and go to History, then RFQ History, then Download CSV.
Download your deposit statements
Go to History, then Deposit History. Pick a coin and download its statement PDF. Repeat for every coin you deposited, including rand.
Download your withdrawal statements
Go to History, then Withdrawal History, and download the statement PDF for every coin you withdrew.
Upload everything together
In Coinfig, choose OVEX and upload the RFQ History CSV and all the statement PDFs in one go, so each withdrawal lines up with the deposits and trades that funded it.

Known limitations
- OVEX has no read-only API for retail accounts, so import is by file upload.
- Deposits and withdrawals are only available as statement PDFs, one per coin. Coinfig reads the OVEX statement layout only; other PDFs are refused rather than guessed.
- The statement PDFs do not say where a withdrawal went, so a withdrawal to your own wallet arrives as a plain withdrawal. Connect that wallet too so it can be matched as a transfer.
- Unconfirmed RFQ quotes never executed, so they are skipped.

How do I do my OVEX taxes?
Download your RFQ History CSV and your deposit and withdrawal statement PDFs from OVEX, then upload them together to Coinfig, which applies FIFO cost basis and classifies each disposal for SARS.
Why do I need the PDFs as well as the CSV?
The RFQ History CSV only holds your trades. OVEX only offers deposits and withdrawals as statement PDFs, and without them Coinfig cannot see coins moving in or out of your account.
Coinfig says my OVEX trades are missing. What do I do?
You uploaded statement PDFs without the RFQ History CSV. Download it from History, then RFQ History, and upload it together with the PDFs.
