Coinfig pulls your exchange and wallet history into one place, checks that nothing is missing and works out your tax. You file with figures you can trace and check.
Figures for Singapore are a reporting-level calculation, not a Singapore specific computation. Coinfig applies a consistent generic cost-basis method and shows the full workings, so confirm how the local rules apply to you with an adviser in Singapore.

Build an accurate history for each tax year first. A tax adviser can then advise on the right route for past years.
An exchange export on its own misses transfers between your own wallets. Coinfig finds those gaps for you.
Get your full history and figures together before you reply, so you can answer accurately.
Hand over one report with the schedules behind every number, so they can check it instead of rebuilding it.
Connect your exchanges and wallets and Coinfig pulls in your full history for you, with nothing to type in by hand. Your transactions are kept in sync. For wallets we read the blockchain directly, which picks up movements that exported statements often leave out.
For the technically minded: we run our own archive nodes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Cardano.
Direct, read-only API connections to the venues you actually use, local and global, plus a universal CSV importer for everything else.
Add a wallet address and we read its history from the blockchain itself, transaction by transaction. There is no file to export.
Coinfig checks whether anything is missing from your history and shows you what to fix. You get a data completeness score from 0 to 100, so you know how far to trust your figures before you pay.
We compare everything that came into your accounts with everything that went out, coin by coin. Small gaps count for little, so a $1 gap does not spoil a clean year.
When crypto arrives from a wallet or exchange you have not connected, we value it at the market price on the day, which is an estimate. Connect that account and we use the real figure. Your score is the lowest of the checks.
Link your exchanges, add your wallet addresses, or upload a file from an exchange we do not connect to yet.
Coinfig shows you what is missing from your history and how to fix it, before you pay.
Look over how your transactions were treated and change anything that is wrong. Every change is recorded.
Download your report with the figures for your return and the schedules behind them, ready for you or your accountant.

Everything you need to know about Coinfig and your crypto tax reporting.
Coinfig turns your exchange and wallet history into clear disposal and gain figures for the calendar income year. It applies a consistent, generic cost-basis calculation and gives you downloadable, transaction-level schedules and workings.
This is a reporting-level view. It is not tailored to the statutory rules that apply in Singapore. Coinfig is a calculation and reporting tool, not tax advice, and it does not imply any endorsement by IRAS.
No. Coinfig gives you a consistent generic calculation across your whole history rather than a Singapore specific computation, and it does not decide your tax position for you.
Confirm the rules that apply to you with a local adviser before you file.
Coinfig defaults to FIFO, first in first out, and also offers HIFO and LIFO. IRAS accepts first in first out or weighted average cost, and does not accept last in first out.
So do not elect LIFO for a Singapore position. Coinfig does not block the choice, and the report states which method produced your figures, so check it before you rely on the numbers.
Singapore has no capital gains tax. Gains from personal investment in digital tokens are generally not taxable, and only gains from trading as a business are taxed as income.
Whether you count as an investor or a trader depends on your own facts, and Coinfig does not decide that. It summarises your disposals for reference, so confirm your status with a local adviser.
Coinfig uses the calendar year and labels it as the Year of Assessment that follows it, because Singapore assesses on a preceding year basis. Activity in the 2025 calendar year therefore appears as YA 2026.
Every report states the period it covers, so you can check the window before you export.
Reports are produced in one of Coinfig's supported reporting currencies, which include the South African rand, the US dollar, the euro and the pound sterling. You pick yours in preferences and every figure and schedule is produced in it.
Singapore dollar reporting is not available yet.
Yes. When you connect an exchange through its API, Coinfig uses read-only access to import your transaction history. It cannot place trades or move funds.
If you prefer not to share an API key, you can also import your history by CSV from most exchanges.
No. Coinfig provides calculations and reports based on the data you import and the settings you choose. It does not provide personalised tax advice, and it does not imply any endorsement or approval by IRAS.
Because the figures are a reporting-level calculation rather than a Singapore specific one, and for anything unusual such as business trading, mining or staking, consult a qualified adviser in Singapore. You remain responsible for what you file.
