Upload a CSV, or use the template
Add history your exchange key cannot reach, from exports or the Coinfig template.
Key points
- Drop up to twenty exchange files at a time, and Coinfig tells you what it found in each.
- If you keep your own records, use the Coinfig template: one row per trade, deposit or withdrawal.
- Check the results before adding them; the verification report flags rows that need review.
- Many exchange exports show only crypto amounts, but tax sits on the rand value of each leg.
- Several files from the same exchange combine into one source, so balances net correctly.

Your exchange key cannot reach your oldest trades. Here is how to add them.
In the connect window, choose Not listed? Upload a file. Drop the files you got from your exchange, up to twenty at a time. Your exchange key cannot always reach your oldest history. The Coinfig template adds it.
Keeping your own records? Download the Coinfig template: one row per trade, deposit or withdrawal. How do I fill in the template explains each type, and where fees go. Coinfig reads each file and tells you what it found.
Check what we found. Fix anything that looks wrong, then add it to your history. Several files from the same exchange are combined into one source, or kept apart if you prefer.
Drop your exports. Or fill in the template. Check, then add.
