When a source needs attention
What Partial and Error mean on a source, and how to fix them.
Key points
- Each source card shows its state, from Syncing to Synced or Error, and when it last updated.
- Error means a file could not be read; open the card for the full message and the problem rows.
- Fix the file, then choose Re-upload CSV, and the card updates once the new file is in.
- Deleting a source removes its transactions and any notes and edits you made to them.
- When fixing a file, check timestamps, time zones and fees, which exchange exports often record inconsistently.

A source card says Error. What now?
Every source card shows its state, from Syncing to Synced or Error. Synced means the import finished. The card shows when it last updated.
Error means a file could not be read. The card shows the first line of why. Open it for the full message, including which rows were the problem.
Fix the file, then choose Re-upload CSV. The card updates once the new file is in. Deleting a source removes its transactions, and any notes and edits you made to them. Coinfig asks you first.
Read the state. Open the details. Fix the file and re-upload it.
